Majid has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Management from the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on Finance and Public Policy
Majid has served on numerous non-profit boards. He currently chairs the boards of Delaware Valley University, and the Dialogue Institute, as well as serving on the boards of the Historical Society of PA, and Intercultural Journeys
Alta oversaw design and construction of the Judicial Center in Harrisburg, PA, budgeted at $140 million.
Alta represented the First Judicial District in overseeing design and construction of Family Court which was budgeted at $200 million.
Alta's founder was the owner's representative on the CJC at a budget of $120 million.
Alta represented the State of PA in oversight of design and construction of the Penguin's Arena in Pittsburgh at a budget of $317 million.
Alta was the developer of 30 townhouses in Philadelphia at a budget of $12 million.
