Majid founded Alta Management in 1999 to serve clients in the Mid Atlantic region
Majid worked with the Bechtel Corporation for 9 years on numerous large capital projects in the USA and internationally before launching his own business
Majid has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Management from the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on Finance and Public Policy
Majid has served on numerous non-profit boards. He currently chairs the board of the Dialogue Institute, as well as having served on the boards of the Historical Society of PA, Delaware Valley University and Intercultural Journeys
Alta oversaw design and construction of the Judicial Center in Harrisburg, PA, budgeted at $140 million.
Alta represented the First Judicial District in overseeing design and construction of Family Court which was budgeted at $200 million.
Alta's founder was the owner's representative on the CJC at a budget of $120 million.
Alta represented the State of PA in oversight of design and construction of the Penguin's Arena in Pittsburgh at a budget of $317 million.
Alta was the developer of 30 townhouses in Philadelphia at a budget of $12 million.

Delaware County, in Pennsylvania, engaged Alta Management to put together a plan to de-privatize the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in 2021/2022. The prison had been managed by GEO International and other for-profit operators for more than 20 years.
- Alta oversaw development of a budget estimated at approximately $50 million, a staffing plan and health services plan to take the prison back under County control and management
- Alta assessed educational and re-entry programs for consideration of the County
- Alta assisted with hiring of nearly nearly 300 staff over 6 months
